If you will recall, Dave and I hiked Mt. Hunger about a month ago and were turned back by raging water coming down the waterfall. At the time, we didn't realize that we needed to cross the falls to continue on the trail; however, once we figured that out, we decided to turn back. The falls looked too dangerous to cross.
On Wednesday, I revisited Mt. Hunger and filmed the same place. The contrast is stark and hard to believe. The power of water: amazing.
(Video One is the RAGING FALLS after a week of heavy rain. Video Two is the USUAL FALLS that most people see when hiking Mt. Hunger.)
Note: My first day of work went great. I have a full week ahead that is totally packed with training. This weekend, Dave and I move into our new home and on Monday I will be unpacking and puttering around making the place cozy; that is if I don't get sidetracked playing outside, taking photos and picking blueberries. Finally, we'll be living the rural life again!)

Are you going to be living in the country of Vermont? It's so purdy there. I will have to come visit you as soon as I can. I want to get as much traveling done as possible before I settle down into my quaint Texas home. Vermont isn't exactly Australia but I have never been and I would love to see my family again! :)
Wow Deanna. What a contrast! Glad you were able to go back and enjoy the serene side of Mt. Hunger Waterfall. Thanks for sharing!
Wow!!!! Holy shit the water was really raging! Great video Deanna. I can't wait for you and Dave to get moved to the new house. Out in the country once again! YeeeeeeeHa!!
Keep the videos coming!
Stay safe out there
